2017 Hastwell & Lightfoot Montepulciano

Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Dark to black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with earth, vanillin cedar and leather notes. Medium bodied the palate is laden with black cherry and liquorice fruits which sit over an earthy back drop of spicy vanillin cedar and leather. Slightly dryish tannins with bright acidity and a mid length finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
