2017 Haldon Pinot Noir

Deep, slightly cloudy, dark red colour with tinges of black to the edges and a dark red hue. Very expressive nose with elevated scents of dark strawberries and raspberries followed by anise and spicy leather notes. The palate has a juicy Grenache like feel to it with flavours of ripe raspberries and strawberries prevalent over anise, spicy herbs and traces of leather. Lacking some complexity and finesse it has velvet smooth tannins and finishes with a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
