Matured in new and old French oak barriques. Impenetrable midnight black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Expressive dark plum and liquorice aromatics mix with toasty vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied with a plush textural feel and plenty of richness, the palate is awash with spicy dark plum, liquorice, toasty vanillin cedar, scorched earth, dried herb and blackpepper flavours. Velvety yet sturdy tannin structure. Sound depth with a medium to long aftertaste.
