2017 Goona Warra 1863 Reserve Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice have a smoked meat overlay with some earthy dried herb notes, black olive and blackpepper also present. Bold, luscious black cherry and liquorice flavours are to the fore on the full bodied palate with infusions of eucalypt, scorched earth, smoky cedar, dried meats and blackpepper ensuing. Slightly chewy mouthfeel with firmly built tannins. Finishes long and rich.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
