2017 Giant Steps Sexton Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red core with a bright crimson red hue. The nose is very fragrant displaying red to dark cherry aromatics and notes of strawberry with a violet overlay. Also evident are hints of dried clove, light meaty cedar and spice. Delicious and long the elegantly weighted palate is filled with ripe red and dark cherries, strawberries and subtle dried clove infusions over spicy cedar. Fresh finish with very finely grained, seamlessly integrated tannins. Long conclusion of spicy ripe red and dark cherries, strawberries, faintly smoked cedar and light dried herb infusions.
