Brilliant magenta. Aromas of fresh dark berries, candied flowers and smoked meat acquire a suggestion of licorice as the wine opens up. Sweet and pliant on the palate, offering juicy boysenberry and cherry flavors that put on weight and firm up with air. Finishes with solid grip, impressive persistence, a lingering blue fruit note and chewy tannins that sneak in slowly. Drink 2022 - 2027.
