2017 Garagiste Le Stagiaire Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright crimson hue. Violet laced scents of dark cherries, strawberries and a hint of sour cherries show excellent intensity with nuances of anise, forest floor and spicy cedar ensuing. Delicious flavours of cherries and strawberries infused with violets grace the supplely textured palate. Elements of forest floor, a subtle meatiness and spicy dried herbs are also present. Good bright acidity with finely grained, velvet like tannins. Good power wave with a long savoury aftertaste of spicy cherries, forest floor, some meatiness, dried herbs and spicy cedar.
