2017 Gapsted Wines Limited Release Fiano

Aged in seasoned French oak. Brilliant very pale straw colour, almost water like, with the faintest tinge of green around the outskirts. Nosing exhibits aromas of lychees and lemon sherbet followed by some lime and subtle flinty mineral end notes. Light and refreshing with racy acidity coursing through it the palate has flavours of lychee, citrus and green apple followed by a lingering minerality and a subtle emerging nuttiness. Dry crisp finish with an aftertaste of delicate lychee, citrus, mineral and a subtle nuttiness.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
