Dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a very dark red hue. Lifted dark cherry and ripe strawberry aromas mix with anise, toasty cedar, earth and spicy herbs. Light to medium weight the palate has a rich flavour profile of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and anise which meld into spicy earth and dried herb characters. Expansive and fleshy it has velvety tannins and finishes with a ripe and powerful aftertaste.
