2017 G.D. Vajra Barbera d'Alba

Inky black core with a very deep dark purple hue. Freshly crushed ripe blackberry aromas combine with dark to black cherries and liquorice followed by some fresh earth and herb notes. Rich blackberry, black cherry and liquorice fruits are underpinned by vibrant acidity with subtle scorched earth and fresh herb infusions sitting beneath. Chewy ripe tannins. Finishes with a brightly lit aftertaste.
