2017 Freeman Rosso Corvina Rondinella

Modelled on Valpolicella using Corvina and Rondinella grapes. Dark red core with black tinged edges and a light brick red hue. Aromas of dark plums, morello cherries and liquorice are overlaid by earthy incense like notes and spicy herbs. Bright and juicy with a feeling of lightness across the palate, flavours of morello cherries, red liquorice and ripe plums are backed by fresh acidity and slightly grippy tannins. Some elements of earthy leather, dried herbs and spice are also present. Dryish finish with a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
