A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec matured for 18 months in a combination of new and second use French oak.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Elevated aromatics of red currant and mulberry infused with dried herbs and tobacco are trailed by spicy cedar and black olive notes. Medium bodied with an elegant polished feel, flavours of red currant and mulberry are tightly knit to tobacco, spicy cedar and bay leaf infusions. Dryish finish with balanced acidity and sturdy but fine grained tannins providing definition. Concludes long and elegant.
