2017 Francois Villard L'Appel des Sereines Syrah

Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black hue. Aromas of blackberry and liquorice mix with hints of scorched earth, dried meats, leather and pepper. Medium bodied with an elegant feel, the palate features spicy dark cherry and liquorice fruits over a background of dried meats, herbs du Provence, earth and pepper. Finishes with good freshness, polished tannins and a refined mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
