Semi translucent dark red core with a light red hue. Pronounced dark cherry and anise aromatics show good lift with hints of violet also present. Forest floor, stalky cedar and spice notes then ensue. Soft, fleshy and rich, the palate dispenses generous ripe dark cherry, spicy anise, toasty oak, forest floor and dried herb flavours. Velvet like tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Good power with a long spicy dark cherry and anise aftertaste.
