2017 Foster e Rocco Nuovo Sangiovese

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a vibrant dark red hue. Fragrant violet, ripe red cherry and strawberry notes are trailed by notions of faintly scorched earth and spicy fresh herbs. The delicious palate is filled with juicy cherry, subtle strawberry and plum flavours which sit over faint elements of earth and spice. Dry savoury finish with bright acidity and well managed tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of ripe cherries, delicate strawberry, a touch of earth, dried herbs and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
