2017 Feudo Montoni Vrucara Nero d’Avola

Deep dark red core with black surrounds and a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry scents intermix with liquorice and spicy plum followed by some dried herb, earth and vanillin cinnamon like notes. Full and quite fleshy in its feel spicy dark plum and liquorice fruits have a prominent vanillin oak and cinnamon underbelly with some earth also chiming in. Round, polished tannins firm up a touch on the lengthy finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
