2017 Felsina Berardenga Chianti Classico

Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Red currant aromas have a dusty cedar and earth overlay with dried herbs, notions of tobacco and spice also present. Medium bodied, elegant red currant and red to dark cherry fruits are married to old cedar, earth, dried herbs and spice. Polished mouthfeel with finely grained tannins leading into an earthy, rustic aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

A very fresh 2017 with plenty of tight and linear tannins that give the wine energy and drive. Medium to full body. Racy finish. This is impressive. Fantastic texture and complexity on the palate with purple fruit and wet earth. Drink or hold.

Rich, with black cherry, plum, iron and violet aromas and flavors, this red is suave and multidimensional. Vibrant and balanced, featuring a lingering finish that echoes the fruit and adds a spice accent. Best from 2021 through 2040.
