Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Scented liquorice, plum and fennel aromas drift from the glass with hints of ripe blueberry, vanillin cedar and subtle spicy herbs in tow. Rich and savoury the palate is filled with lashings of dark plums and liquorice underscored by subtle smoky cedar, fennel and spicy pepper. Plush mouthfeel with velvety tannins and bright underlying acidity. Long succulent aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, lightly smoked cedar, fennel and pepper.
