2017 Erste & Neue Kalterersee Classico Superiore

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Aromas of dark cherries laced with dried herbs and earth are followed by some spice notes. Supple palate entry with spicy ripe red fruits decorating the light to medium weight palate. Subtle earth and dried herb elements also make an appearance. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Good fresh acidity and a savoury medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
