2017 Ellis Wines Signature Label Shiraz

Matured in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak barriques for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced dark plum and liquorice aromas drive the nose with blackberry, vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spice ensuing. Rich, soft and fleshy, the opulent palate is layered with dark plum and liquorice fruits which preside over a back drop of vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Silky smooth tannins with a long sumptuous finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
