2017 Elderton Ashmead Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Pitch black core with a deep dark red hue. Intense aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive fill the nostrils followed by cigar box, dried herb and spicy bay leaf notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses rich blackcurrant fruits which hold sway over a refined back drop of mulberry, subtle liquorice, cigar box, light black olive and spicy dried herbs. Structurally sound with polished tannins. Excellent depth and power with a degree of elegance to the long fine finish.
