Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of blackcurrant, black olive, hints of rhubarb, tobacco leaf, dusty cedar and dried herbs. Medium bodied the palate has a generous, silky mouthfeel with blackcurrant and rhubarb fruits intermingling with tobacco leaf, dried herbs, black olive and spicy cedar. Fine grained tannins. Refined medium to long conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
Like the single vineyard wine in many ways with the sweet core of bright black and red fruit, that gives that bright fresh acidity, but with added depth, concentration of fruit. Tannins are similarly very fine and soft. Lovely and plush. Drink by 2027.
