2017 Domaine Talmard Macon Chardonnay

Solely aged in stainless steel tanks, this Macon has a brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted top notes of fresh nectarine and citrus are intermeshed with light honeysuckle and wet stone notes. Fleshy ripe nectarine and white peach flavours dominate the palate with infusions of honeysuckle and wet stone on the lively finish. There’s a refreshing purity of fruit to this wine with good volume in the mouth complimented by plenty of vibrant acidity. Medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
