Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals liquorice top notes followed by dark plum and hints of blueberry over vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate isn’t the heavy hitting blockbuster of past vintages. It features fleshy dark plum and liquorice flavours over lightly smoked vanillin cedar and spice. Plush, pillowy mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins and a medium length finish.
