Opaque very youthful looking black bright dark red colour with a vibrant purple hue. Freshly crushed raspberry and ripe cherry aromas overlaid by incense are followed by hints of scorched earth and spicy herbs. Light to medium bodied there’s a juiciness to the inky dark raspberry and liquorice flavours which are underscored by light earth and spicy fresh provincial herb infusions. Bright fresh acidity with slightly dryish fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of inky dark raspberries, subtle liquorice, cherries, earthy provincial herbs and a touch of spice.
