Fruit for the 2017 Dalrymple Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from three vineyard sites in Tasmania. Two were in Coal River valley, with the third from the Dalrymple estate block in Pipers River. The Coal River sites produce fruit with slightly more tropical flavours but fine bright acidity, whilst the estate block has slightly greener flavours and firm acidity to provide further contrast and complexity.

Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Elevated scents of ripe gooseberries and citrus are married to herbaceous grassy characters and asparagus with light flinty mineral end notes. Light and texturally rounded in the mouth with a fresh crunchy acid finish the palate is powered by flavours of herbaceous gooseberries, citrus and green apple with infusions of grassy asparagus and flinty mineral also apparent. Dry conclusion with a long aftertaste of herbaceous gooseberries, citrus, flinty mineral infusions and grassy asparagus.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 12.5%
