2017 Craigie Knowe Estate Pinot Noir

Matured for 9 months in French oak barrels. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, ripe dark cherries, plum and anise are followed by hints of forest floor, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Seductive rich dark cherry, dark plum and strawberry flavours are delivered with an expansive peacocks tail like power wave flooding the mouth. Detailing the finish are elements of spicy oak, anise, forest floor and subtle dried herbs. Beautifully textured with a supple feel, silky smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Concludes with a delicious and very long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
