2017 Cos Frappato

Aged in oak for 12 months. Vibrant bright red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. Fragrant dried and Morello cherry aromas combine with plum juice, sour cherry, herbs, a hint of earth and spice. Light in body with a supple and very rounded mouthfeel the savoury palate features ripe red and sour cherry, plum and strawberry flavours over some stony characters and fresh herb infusions. Bright but balanced acidity with very polished and refined tannins contributing to the finesse and elegance of the wine. A dash of spice appears on the fresh medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
