2017 Coriole Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Superb density of colour featuring an impenetrable inky black core and a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose is quite pronounced with aromatics of blackcurrant, mulberry and cedary tobacco characters coming together followed by subtle bay leaf, light black olive and spice notes. The palate juxtaposes rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruit with a refined feel. Cedary tobacco elements, dried herbs and spicy black olives are evident on the back palate. Elegant yet structured tannins are very well integrated with the fruit. Excellent length with a long spicy blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco and dried herb aftertaste.
