Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant dark plum and liquorice aromas overlaid with clove and fennel unfurl from the glass followed by smoky cedar and blackpepper notes. Ripe and juicy the medium weight palate has succulent flavours of dark plum and liquorice with an undercard of earthy vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy dried herbs. Velvet smooth tannins with a medium to long deeply fruited aftertaste.
