Matured in older French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks a small amount of Barbera has been included. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Freshly crushed blackberry and ripe dark cherry aromas intermix with liquorice and toasty vanillin oak. Bright and juicy with a vibrant feel the palate dishes up medium weighted flavours of crushed blackberries and dark cherries followed by some liquorice, toasty oak and spice. Finishes fresh with lively acidity and polished tannins. Aftertaste of crushed blackberries, ripe cherries, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
