2017 Cape Jaffa Epic Drop Shiraz

Impenetrable black dark red core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Dark plum top notes intermix with liquorice and hints of blackberry followed by smoky vanillin oak and light pepper. Rich, juicy and inky, dark plum and liquorice flavours flood the mouth with some blackberry juice, smoky vanillin cedar and spice also chiming in. Finishes with good freshness and sturdy tannins which impart a youthful, inky opulence to the mouthfeel. Excellent length with a long succulent aftertaste.
