2017 Cape Barren Native Goose Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas rise out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar, subtle earth and blackpepper. Medium to full in body, rich liquorice and blackberry flavours fill the mouth over some spicy ripe dark cherries, earthy vanillin cedar and pepper. Sturdy fine grained tannins impart a muscular feel. Aftertaste of spicy ripe berries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, earth and pepper.
