2017 Cantina Santadi Villa Solais Vermentino di Sardegna

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe pear aromas are tinged with hints of lime and melon followed by subtle fresh herb end notes. Rich with a fullish and rounded textural feel yet remarkably fresh finish, the palate dishes up a delicious flavour profile of pears and lime over some spicy melon with infusions of fresh herbs and mineral on the crisp dry finish. Long pear, lime, melon and minerally fresh herb aftertaste. A very flavoursome Vermentino with time on lees having filled out the mouthfeel.
