A blend of 53% Merlot and 47% Shiraz. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Morello cherry and blackcurrant aromas combine over hints of liquorice and spicy dried herbs. Light and fruity with a Ribena like sweetness to the ripe plum, Morello cherry and blackcurrant flavours. A touch of liquorice and fresh herb infusions are also present. Soft fine grained tannins. Finishes with some residual sugar and a modest aftertaste. Serve chilled.
