2017 Byrne Plumpton Witchmount Vineyard Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of nectarines and delicate peaches are married to dried honey, biscuity oak, roasted almond, lemon butter and spice notes. Medium bodied and very creamy in the mouth the palate has flavours of peaches, nectarines, dried honey and lemon butter over a back drop of cashew and spicy nougat. Clean dry finish with relatively soft but sufficient acidity. Aftertaste of nectarine, dried honey, biscuity oak, cashew, lemon butter and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
