Matured for 16 months in older oak with a dash of Grenache included in the blend. Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice have a smoky vanillin cedar overlay with some earthy fennel and spice notes also present. Rich blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits fill the mouth over a back drop of toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice. Polished tannins with a medium length finish.
