2017 Brave Souls Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

A blend of 46% Grenache, 29% Shiraz and 25% Mourvedre. Opaque dark red black core with a dark red hue. Fragrant ripe dark raspberry, cherry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by a whiff of incense with some earth and spicy herb notes ensuing. Rich with a plush, velvety feel and good underlying vibrancy the palate is awash with spicy black raspberry and liquorice flavours which sit over subtle black cherry, scorched earth and traces of dried herbs. Peppery finish with silky smooth tannins. Long spicy pepper infused aftertaste of black raspberries, dark cherries, liquorice and light scorched earth.
