2017 Boat O'Craigo Black Spur Pinot Noir

Excellent depth of colour displaying a dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe red cherries and strawberries laced with fresh herbs (mainly bay leaf) flow out of the glass followed by hints of anise, toasty cedar and spice. Fresh with a feeling of lightness across the palate, spicy ripe red cherry and strawberry flavours converge with lightly toasted cedar, earthy dried meats and spice. Finishes dry with bright acidity and faintly chalky tannins. Concludes with spicy red cherries, strawberries, toasty cedar, some meatiness and dried herbs.
