Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted blackcurrant and liquorice aromas have a choc mint overlay followed by hints of toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice. The plush mid weighted palate features generous blackcurrant, plum and liquorice fruits which have a subtle undercurrent of spicy vanillin oak and mint. Velvety tannins with a medium length aftertaste that sees the emergence of some earth.
