Dark red core with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Aromas of spicy red currants mix with earth, tobacco and dried herbs. Light to medium weight, the palate features red currant and cherry fruit over earthy tobacco, dried herb and spice nuances. Dryish finish with bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins. Savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Machine-harvested, fermented in tank and in used larger format French and American oak, matured for 15 months in oak. Bright colour; this is vibrantly fresh, with sparklets of red flavours exploding in the mouth. Fantastic vintage, excellent winemaking. Drink now in the full power of its youth. Drink by 2023.
