2017 Bird on a Wire Syrah

Deep black dark red colour with a dark red black hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with smoked meat, earthy clove and blackpepper. Medium to full in body, ripe black cherry and liquorice fruits are interwoven with smoked meat characters, earthy fennel, spicy clove and blackpepper. A muscular tannin structure complimenting the generous, chewy nature of the wine. Long complex finish infused with blackpepper and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
