2017 Bindi Quartz Chardonnay
Palatial in the way it expands through the palate. Oak and fruit gather to produce a forceful front of flavour, creamy texture and fresh acidity part of a seamless whole. Wonderful length. Stunning wine.

Fresh yet tightly juicy chardonnay of vivacious nature. Fruit character seems somewhat simple, but let’s say understated, but all up very, very appealing – citrus on green apple, a curl of nutty-doughy savouriness, littered with mineral charm. It’s done righteously in its gentle, appealing way – focus here is a thing too. The savoury vibe is the mojo here, ultimately, with yeast, fruit and stony qualities finding that voice. The more I sip the more this slides into my wheelhouse.
