2017 Bethany Blue Quarry Barrel Select Shiraz

Pitch black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and dark chocolate aromas flow out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar and spicy mocha. Rich, full and incredibly velvety, generous ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum flavours glide effortlessly across the palate with a liquid silk like feel. Subtlety toasted vanillin oak, fennel, hints of dark chocolate and spice back the opulent fruit. Very polished tannins are beautifully integrated and barely discernible. Excellent power and a long silky finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
