Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aniseed, black cherry and dark plum aromas infused with mint show good elevation with light earth and spicy vanillin cedar notes following on. Medium to full bodied, juicy aniseed and black cherry flavours merge with vanillin oak, scorched earth and spice. Dryish finish with sturdy tannins firming up the back palate a touch. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste.
