Midnight black colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackpepper scents intermingle with blackberry and liquorice fruit over toasty vanillin cedar, black olive, scorched earth and spice notes. Rich, concentrated blackberry and liquorice fruit infused with blackpepper extend across the length of the palate with elements of black cherries, smoky cedar, roasted meats, earth and spice also evident. Terrific fruit intensity underpinned by robust tannins that impart a sense of chewiness to the otherwise opulent mouth feel. Outstanding depth and power. Long savoury aftertaste filled with savoury black fruits and a burst of blackpepper.
