2017 Beechworth Wine Estates Sangiovese

Matured for 18 months in large oak. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark brick red hue. Plummy vegemite like aromas mix with over ripe tomato, gurkin and earth notes. Ripe and fleshy the palate has dark cherry and plum flavours infused with over ripe tomato characters sitting over earth and spicy mint. Fine grained tannins with balanced acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
