2017 Badgers Brook Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a vibrant crimson red hue. A youthful but fragrant nose offers up scents of freshly crushed cherries and strawberries tinged with violets and traces of anise followed by subtle spice end notes. Light in body but quite juicy the palate dishes up flavours of crushed ripe cherries, plums and strawberries with a spicy undercard of vanillin cedar and faint anise. Finely grained tannins finishing with bright acidity and an aftertaste of crushed cherries, plum juice, strawberries, light cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
