2017 Auld Family Wines Strawbridge Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine was matured in mainly French oak along with a little bit of American oak for a period of 12 months. Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Ripe blackcurrant scents infused with mint are followed by dusty vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spice. Rich blackcurrant, liquorice and choc mint flavours are cast across the opulent palate with toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spice ensuing. Velvety tannins with a lingering toasty vanillin oak component on the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
