2016 Yeringberg Shiraz

Very deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Alluring aromas of liquorice, plum and spicy dark cherries drift from the glass followed by hints of violets, smoky vanillin cedar, subtle fennel and pepper. Medium bodied with a soft fleshy feel to the rich spicy plum and liquorice fruits, elements of lightly smoked vanillin cedar, a subtle meatiness and peppered herbs ensue. Very refined and polished with well integrated tannins. Finishes long, elegant and savoury.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
